G&G G980 Shell Ejecting

The G980 is the derivate of an earlier rifle model (98 Kurz Carbine).

The 98 Kurz rifle (often abbreviated as the Kar98k, K98 or K98K) was a bolt action rifle chambered for 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridges and was adopted in 1935 as the standard Wehrmacht rifle.

It was the last model developed from the Mauser line of military rifles.

Although it was supplemented by semi- and fully automatic rifles during World War II, it remained the primary service weapon until the end of World War II, 1945.

This replica from the Taiwanese company G&G Armament is built entirely of metal and wood and the abbreviation SE comes from "Shell Ejecting" replicating as faithfully as possible the operating system of the real weapon.

Thus, the rifle is fed with 5 cartridges as faithfully replicated as possible, being loaded with a BB on each cartridge and they will be inserted manually or with the help of a cartridge case in the specially arranged chamber of the weapon and more precisely in the bolt area, the cartridge chamber that is in front of the trigger guard.
